One of my favorite items from the Calabria Pork Store on Arthur Ave is their broccoli rabe sausage. So the other day I went and got some for an Italian themed diner, one without tomatoes as the main often over used ingredient. So with the sausage I made risotto with the vegetable stock I made the other day. Then I had some graffiti eggplant, I could not not buy it it looked too cool, which I heavily sea salted and sautéed in olive oil. It was an awesome dish.
