Spring break is here and that means one thing to me, my home kitchen! Two ovens (convection and electric), six gas burners, a grill, a huge fridge, and a proper knife sharpener. I have a list of about a dozen things I want to cook this week, if I can find the time. Today I didn’t get home until late afternoon and am running on only a few hours of sleep for driving my roommate to the airport at 4 a.m. so I was not in the mood to do anything hardcore yet.
I did help my mom make dinner though. Just made couscous with onions, mushrooms, and spinach then salmon with pesto. The salmon fell apart when mixing in the pesto so not entirely aesthetically pleasing. But it tasted good, what really matters.
